- Valentin Imperial Maya in Riviera Maya, Mexico: The Valentin is less than a forty minute ride from Cancun Airport and the best ease of travel is by use of private car transfers. This is an all-inclusive resort and has an impressive white sand beach, two large breathtaking pools, a full-service spa, seven a la carte restaurants, and eight bars. The staff is very friendly and enjoys interacting with the guest to ensure they have the best and wonderful stay. The specialty restaurants and room service far exceeds one's expectation. Although being in Mexico, the French, Italian, and Japanese restaurants are on par with some of the best restaurants in the United States. In addition, The Lobster Pot has the best lobster and seafood dishes. No reservations are needed at these restaurants thus giving one the opportunity to utilize their time as one wishes. This resort has a lot of daily activities, spacious pools, swim out rooms, and wonderful nightly shows with parties afterwards. During the day and evening you could go to Playa del Carmen to shop and eat local Mexican food, or you could go to visit and experience the Mayan temples. Playa del Carmen is a great and wonderful place to eat and shop. All the suites offer furnished balconies, satellite TVs, high-speed internet access, IPod docking station, DVD player, stocked mini bar, slippers, bathrobes, and a nice Jacuzzi bathtub that can accommodate two. We eagerly recommend this resort to anyone that wants to experience the Riviera Maya in Mexico. - Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica: Couples Swept Away is an all-inclusive adult only resort and is spread out over 27 acres with 10 acres housing a magnificent spa, sports and fitness complex. This property is on an unspoiled stretch of Negril’s Seven Mile Beach consisting of 1,500 feet and within walking distance to downtown Negril. It takes about a little over an hour from the airport to arrive at this resort. Couples Swept Away features 312 AC suites, 6 restaurants, 9 bars including a swim-up pool and a Wellness bar, conference rooms, casino, nightclub, spa, water sports, squash, racquetball, basketball, ½ mile outdoor jogging track, steam rooms, saunas, 7 lane lap pool, theme events, and unlimited golf nearby. The entrance is very nice with an open foyer, and an accommodating check-in area; bottom line, it gives you that authentic Jamaican feel. The suites offered have a unique and varied look to appease the different desires of vacation seekers. All suites have a king-size bed, ceiling fan, a fully stocked mini-bar, telephone, iPod/MP3 docking station, shower, hair dryer, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, robes, and a balcony. Some suites have hammocks with no televisions, and most have cable TV without a hammock. These variations provide flexibility for clients seeking romance, a relaxation from stress, and/or an invigorating fitness vacation. This resort has complimentary high speed and WIFI internet access throughout resort, a reading area that has a variety of indoor games, gift shops, and a martini bar that has an extensive martini menu.
